About the Host

Born in Bolton, Lancashire, England, Sara Cox is a woman with big dreams. 3 Sara jumped head first into entertainment when she began modeling at the age of 18. It didn't take long for Sara to get the attention she was seeking; by 1994 she picked up her first gig "The Big Breakfast" on London's own Channel 4. The producers scouted her after an appearance on the "Girlie Show". Five years later, Sara found herself being ushered in by BBC to host the "Breakfast Show" on Radio 1. Dreams began and her career took off. Sara eventually pulled in Radio 1's largest "Breakfast Show" audience ever. In addition to her "Breakfast Show" success, Sara soon became the co-presenter of the Saturday Lunchtime Show as well as co-host of "The Sunday Surgery". Now armed with her interviewing prowess, passion and smile; she's taking on the next phase of her career, as the new Host of MOJO's hit series, London Live.
